Accessibility statement
How accessible this service is, and where it falls short.
This statement covers what has been built and tested, what is known to be incomplete, and how to tell us about a barrier you hit.

Scope
This statement applies to aiindex.braindigits.com, including the public pages, the assessment itself, the results dashboard and the administration area.
What has been built for
- Semantic HTML throughout, with landmarks, headings in order, and a skip-to-content link.
- Full keyboard operation, including the assessment: keys 1–5 select a maturity level, Enter and the right arrow advance, the left arrow goes back, and every control has a visible focus indicator.
- Colour contrast meeting WCAG 2.1 AA for text and interface components.
- Meaning never carried by colour alone. Maturity levels always appear with their written label, and charts double-encode magnitude with length as well as shade.
- Motion respects
prefers-reduced-motion: the results reveal, the dimension profile, chart animations and scroll effects are all disabled when that preference is set, with no loss of information. - Responsive from 360 pixels upward, with a thumb-reach action bar in the assessment on small screens.
- A data table accompanies every chart on the results page, so no figure exists only as a graphic.
- Form fields carry programmatic labels, and errors are announced and describe what to do next.
Known gaps
Stated plainly rather than left for you to discover:
- No independent audit yet. The service has not been assessed by a third-party accessibility auditor, and no formal conformance claim is made. Testing to date has been by construction and manual keyboard review.
- No assistive-technology test report. Screen reader testing across JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver has not been completed and documented.
- Arabic and right-to-left layout are not implemented. The service is currently English only. This is a substantive gap for the region it serves and is on the roadmap.
- Uploaded evidence files are not checked for accessibility. A PDF supplied by a participant may not be accessible; the platform stores what it is given.
Reporting a barrier
If something on this service prevented you from doing what you came to do, write to aiindex@braindigits.com. Describe the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or settings you were using if that is relevant. We aim to respond within five working days, and to say clearly whether and when we will fix it.
If you need the content of a page in a different format — for example your results as plain text rather than as a chart — ask, and we will provide it.
How this statement is maintained
It is reviewed whenever a significant change ships, and the version and dates above are updated. It describes the service as it actually is, not as intended: when a gap is closed, this statement changes with it.
